Alvin is a fintech company in Africa revolutionizing banking for individuals and financial institutions alike. We worked with them to create a professional and approachable look that connects with Alvin’s tech-savvy user base.

STRATEGY

Alvin tasked us with creating new branding that would effectively engage potential investors and financial institutions. To suit the uniquely technical product, the strategy and design needed to encompass the ease of use for individuals and bankers, as well as the prestige of cutting-edge technology.

So, we crafted a fresh identity that stands out in the uniform visual landscape of African banking: professional, contemporary modern branding infused with African flair.

DESIGN SYSTEM

The tech-forward and approachable brand system is a dynamic and fluid identity centered around the negative space around the new logo. Inspired by an alpha symbol, the icon is both clean and strong to appeal to bankers, investors, and African consumers’ desire to be first in the market and in their lives.
